Mini Motorways has a bubbly, vibrant, but also simplistic art direction, and the sound design matches this well. Trying to match these traits, I pitched many vehicle sounds up to make them sound "smaller"; the opposite can also be true to make sounds feel bigger.

For the soundtrack, I wanted to make something upbeat and energetic, and ended up settling on a two-step garage drum pattern as the foundation. I had a lot of fun syncing parts of the music to the video to emphasize certain parts of the trailer.
